Other Local Shows

The Tri-City Quilter's Guild is holding our bi-annual exhibit at the Gallery at the Park in January 2024.  This is an opportunity for guild members to show their talents in quilting, fabric arts, mixed media art, etc. This exhibit gives the community a snapshot of current trends in quilting.  The Gallery at the Park is located at 89 Lee Blvd, Richland.

The Make It Modern friendship group is our sponsor for this year's event.  You will get to see a preview of many quilts that will also be in the annual quilt show in March.  Our Member Featured Artist, Mark Palmer, will be previewing a new quilt for the March show.

Important Dates:

• Wednesday, January 3, 2024, Noon - Exhibition opens
• Sunday, January 7, 2024, 1-3PM - Public Artist Reception
• Saturday, January 27, 2024 - Exhibition closes at 4PM

Hours for the Gallery:

• Tuesday thru Thursday - Noon to 4PM
• Friday, Saturday - 10AM to 5PM
• Sunday, Monday - Closed

The third annual South Eastern Washington Sew Inspired Quilts (SEWIQ) Outdoor Quilt Walk will be held on September 23, 2023.  This event is part of the South Columbia (SOCO) Creative Arts Festival.  Kennewick Avenue from Dayton to Washington will be blocked off for the quilt show, handcrafts, entertainment, and food.  Discount Vac & Sew in downtown Kennewick, WA, is organizing tthe Outdoor Quilt Walk portion.  The block between Benton and Auburn will be used to display over 100 quilts.  The guild and White Bluffs will have booths on this block.

Discount Vac & Sew is looking for quilters who would like to participate by having their quilts hung during the event.  You may also list them for sale, no commission will be charged.  If you want to display your quilts, drop them off at Discount Vac & Sew between September 12th and 19th.

Volunteers are also needed to hang the quilts on September 23rd at 8AM.  Take down is at 3PM.
