Quilt Show

 

Planning is underway for the 2027 Quilt Show.
 Gwen Mangelson, our quilt show chair, Jean Kimerling, show co-chair, and her committee chairs will be working all summer to put on a wonderful show in March 2027.  Jean will become the 2028 show chair.  Stay tuned for announcements for Show Theme, Guest & Member Featured Artists, and the Quilt Challenge details.

 Marcy Traeger, our quilt show chair, Gwen Mangelson, show co-chair, and her committee chairs are working hard to put on a wonderful show in 2026.  Gwen will become the 2027 show chair.  Here is what we know right now.

  • Robin Ruth Long will be our Featured Guest Artist.
  • Guild members have selected Linda Weir as our Member Artist.
  • The show theme will be “Every Quilt Tells A Story”.
  • The show challenge will celebrate America’s 250th Birthday.

Our 2026 Quilt Show was a resounding success.  Our 2026 show Chair, Marcy Traeger, her Co-Chair Gwen Mangelson, and all the committee chairs did a fabulous job.   We displayed over 400 quilts and had over 1,500 visitors. We received many compliments.  The weather was great and we had a full house of vendors.

2026 Quilt Show - Challenge Ribbons

The 2026 Show Challenge was America’s 250th Birthday. The challenge – make a small quilted project that celebrates our semiquincentenial that shows your love for these United States and our first 250 years.  These are the winners.  All the entries were imaginative and wonderful.

Anyone attending the show was allowed to vote for their three favorite quilts.  When all the votes were tallied, here were the top four winners.
