Retreats

Retreats Twice a Year

Twice a year, up to 14 Tri-City quilters convene in Cove, OR, with their sewing machines, UFOs, tools, gadgets, and snacks to spend some uninterrupted time sewing, laughing, and learning with friends.

The Guild books the Ascension School Camp & Conference Center usually in April and September.  Its accommodations include double rooms (two twin beds and a private bath); two are handicap accessible.

A kitchen, with stove/oven and commercial fridge/freezer, is available to prepare uncooked meals, although 3 dinners (Wed/Thur/Fri) and 1 breakfast (Sunday) are included.  Cost is $80 per night and a $60 food package (4 meals).  There are several eating establishments close by.

Cost is a bargain at $25/day – a fundraiser for the White Bluffs Quilt Museum.  Register and pay your non-refundable fee online, in person at White Bluffs Quilt Museum, or at a Guild membership meeting.

The 2025 Cheat Retreat dates are December 27th (Saturday), December 28th (Sunday), or December 29th (Monday) from 9AM till the last person leaves.  Sign up for one , two, or three days.
