Our education team schedules a variety of opportunities to increase our store of knowledge about quilting history, patterns, techniques, and trends. Check the calendar for sewcials, workshops, and retreats.
If you have questions or suggestions or want instruction in a specific technique, use our contact form – we will put you in touch with the appropriate member of the Education Committee.
The reference libraries from the Tri-City Quilters’ Guild and White Bluffs Quilt Museum have been combined and will now reside at White Bluffs. We have over 1,000 books and resources available. If you are looking for inspiration, research materials, or just something interesting to read, you’ll find plenty to choose from. Members can check out these materials for a month at a time. New books are continually being added, either by donation or purchase.
Visit White Bluffs on Wednesday through Saturday between 10AM and 4PM to browse the library. Call White Bluffs at 509-943-2552 if you want them to pull a book for you to hold until you can pick it up.
Lectures, demonstrations, and trunk shows that fit comfortably into the hour allotted at monthly meetings are provided by the Guild at no cost – no reservations or registration required.
Hands-on instruction, over the course of one or more days, is offered several times a year. At least once a year we host teachers with regional or national reputations.
Early registration for TCQG workshops is limited to members of the Tri-City Quilters’ Guild. Two months prior to a workshop, if space is available, registration will open to non-members.
The Guild also partners with the White Bluffs Quilt Museum to provide workshops. Registering for classes at White Bluffs is done through their website or in person.
