Kathy McNeil "Great Blues" Workshop
Kathy McNeil will join us to make a beautiful heron using the easy Apliquick method of turned edges. Your elegant bird will be made as a free object, ready to place on the background scene or use as a focal block of your new quilt.
Learn the EASY, new Apliquick method of turned edges. This method is sweeping the appliqué world because it is easy to learn, precise and quick. We will use special Apliquick interfacing for our template material. Edges will be swept over the interfacing and left in place, unlike freezer paper that has to be removed. You will love the extra loft and dimension this adds to each feather.
Tuesday, October 18: Class will be held at White Bluffs Quilt Museum from 9AM-3PM. Cost is $65, paid in advance.
Note: Required for the class: $13.95 pattern fee (paid at class) and Apliquick tools. Bring your own Apliquick tools or purchase from Kathy in class. Basic Apliquick tool kit includes 2 Apliquick turning rods, 1 yard of Apliquick interfacing, gluepen with onre refill for $59.00. A supply list will be sent to registrants.
