Painting with Inks
June Jaeger was born and raised in Central Oregon, at the foot of the Ochoco Mountains, where the juniper trees and pine trees meet.
In 1969 she was introduced to quilting by her sister, Jean Wells Keenan, owner of the The Stitchin’ Post. In 1993, she opened her own quilt store, Log Cabin Quiltworks, in Pendleton, OR, later relocating the business to Prineville. OR, where she started designing her own patterns.
June is author of two books, “Best Friends, Animal Portrait Quilts” and “Adventures in Landscape Quilting”.
She is now semi-retired and mainly teaches at seminars or retreats. The workshops coordinator of the Tri-City Quilters Guild (TCQG) was lucky enough to take a class with June at the Quilters Affair last July in Sisters, OR and now wants to share June with the rest of the Guild.
